Make not wearing a mask in a place of business in the state of Texas a fineable offense

Multiple videos have surfaced of customers assaulting essential workers when asked to wear a mask. Without legal aid, these workers are putting their personal safety on the line for minimum wage. Our medical providers are seeing record cases and are at risks from the rise in Covid 19 cases as well.
Multiple studies ave found that masks worn by all decreases the chance of Covid 19 infection.
By signing this petition, you are asking Governor Abbott keep our essential and medical personnel safe by making it a statewide mandate to wear a mask in Texas businesses.
