This is a petition to recall Larry Grimm, member of The Pond Board of Directors, from the members of The Pond Homeowners Association. We feel it is necessary to take this action because of the following:
For promoting a culture of hostility toward homeowners, especially women.
For creating and promoting a culture of hostility toward Apollo Aquatics, especially General Manager Chris Whitener, resulting in the contractor cancelling the 2013 pool contract because the business relationship was no longer “amicable.” Apollo Aquatics was a highly-valued vendor due to exemplary service to the community in summer 2012. Homeowners have provided to the board testimony at meetings and through correspondence indicating their desire to contract with Apollo. Member Larry Grimm has disregarded the homeowners on this matter.
For promoting a certain pool contractor in numerous email messages, in spite of many homeowners’ objections to that vendor because of past performance and the perception of a plagiarized contract bid.
For distributing numerous careless, false, and possibly slanderous email and verbal messages to the Pool Committee.
For shamelessly promoting himself as the community’s potential “pool manager” and presenting a possible conflict of interest and liability to the community.
These violations could nullify Larry Grimm’s right of legal protection offered by C.R.S. 7-128-402, and creates a liability for us homeowners.
