Animal Cruelty Registry Made Public

Animal Cruelty is an act beyond comprehension to most people and it should be given the highest priority and attention. I urge our government and those in charge at the BC SPCA to enact a law that states that those found guilty of committing acts of cruelty against animals of any sort should have their names added to an 'Animal Cruelty Registry' and be posted in the neighborhoods of the guilty parties. This would allow residents to monitor the future behaviour of  these people and report any further wrongdoing to the proper authorities.

In honor of Captain, the German Shephard that died from his injuries that were inflicted upon him by his owner, and the countless other animals that have endured the same heinous treatment, please sign this petition!

Make those responsible for cruelty to animals responsible for their actions in an appropriate manner, imposing sentences that fit the crimes. Add their names to an Animal Cruelty Registry and have them posted in the abusers neighborhoods, allowing people to monitor their behaviour and report any further incidences to the proper authorities and to keep their own pets away from these tormenters. We urge those who enact and enforce the laws regarding animals to take action immediately to send a message that animal cruelty is not acceptable and WILL be handed maximum allowable sentences!!!
