To date, over 226 masks were distributed across Quebec in more than 100 firehouses covering all or part of 60 municipalities ... except the City of Montreal. The evidence is there: many animals were saved thanks to the intervention of firefighters.
The bureaucracy and the structure of the City's fire department seem more complicated than those in the suburbs. Despite the goodwill of many citizens and veterinarians to DONATE this equipment, the City doesn’t seem to believe that this is a priority.
Ask the Mayor Denis Coderre to go ahead the project of allowing us to equip our firehouses.

There are still so many firehouses that need this equipment. The evidence is there: many animals were saved thanks to the intervention of firefighters.

Think about it… These oxygen kits for animals are FREE for the city!!! Then, why won’t it equip its fire trucks??? We now have close to 2,000 signatures on our petitions (French & English), but this is nowhere near enough when you consider that I plan to send this petition to all our elected members Please send this petitions to family, friends, co-workers, etc and ask them to sign and post to their social forums. Thanks you so much for caring for animals.
