Axolotl Awareness

    Julio Evanciew and I, Tess Evanciew, have partnered to create awareness of the fact that Axolotls are a minority pet that deserve as much recognition as dogs and cats. While Pet Smart has created competitions for the cutest cat or dog, it is clear that the axolotl has much better looks and is smarter than both domesticated animals in this two party system. Julio and I propose that Pet Smart add axolotl to the two main categories. Also, we have noticed that grocery stores do not have specified aisles for axolotls, they only have aisles dedicated to fish in their entirety, thus grouping together other minority pets, and of course, cats and dogs.

    Julio and I propose to get the word out about the intrinsic value of axolotls and what they contribute to our society, in both literature and knowledge. They are an almost mystical creature with many stories to tell. We aim to get awareness of axolotls out and become just as popular, if not moreso, than both cats and dogs. The solution starts with corporate interest creating a market and supply for the esteemed titles that axolotls deserve. Later, competitions between cats, dogs and axolotls will be held.

    OCCUPY THE TANK. Bring your fuzzy moss to cuddle, because the axolotls are gaining momentum for their rights movement for minority pets.
