Help Stop This Torture

      The U.S. Senate is about to vote on a very important bill for horses:  The American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act of 2011 (S 1176).  If passed, it would prohibit sending our horses out of the U.S. for slaughter.  Over 100,000  of our horses have been sent to gruesome slaughter during the past year to Mexico and Canada.  No animal should be subjected to what these horses have gone through.                                                                                                                     
      Urgent - please call your Senators (and/or email)  and the White House  (202-456-1111) to urge them to vote for passage of this bill which would be a game-changer for our horses.
