stop cardiff university sewing kittens eyelids shut

1 because it is downright cruel and unessecary in this day and age and

2 i cannot think of how this is going to show what deprivation of sight would cause, only causes stress to the poor animals as they are not able to do something that is natural ie open their eyes!!
