These prescription drugs have been evidenced by many to have caused both physical and mental developmental problems and malformations with unborn children.
Both of these have recently been found on the shelves of chemists and pharmacies in the UK and are still being prescribed. This is abhorrent.
The licence for these drugs should be revoked and all products removed from sale and destroyed appropriately.
Health professionals and the public should be made clearly aware of the risk of harm this product presents. We should not knowingly be allowing the sale and prescription of harmful substances.
The families affected should be offered apologies and some form of compensation for the lifetime of difficulties and suffering that these pharmaceutical chemicals have caused.
