Sequestration cuts are to go into effect on March 1. If Congress does not act, hundreds of thousands of workers will be laid off, and needed aid to seniors, students, and the environment will be cut -- not to mention that the cuts will severely impact our military, puting the nation's security at risk.
We demand that Congress either find an acceptable compromise with President Barack Obama, or simply scrap the sequester altogether.
