Abused dogs in Romani (Gipsy) villages!

In 12 villages of Medimurje County in Croatia, Romani people who live there abuse and mistreat dogs on daily basis. They are also organizing dog fights. For such actions, despite the legislation, the perpetrators generally do not get caught. Therefore, they are even braver when it comes to expressing rage on innocent creatures: animals are hanged on the tree, dragged through the streets while tied on a car, tied to the rails, they cut their throats...
This unacceptable behavior has long been part of the everyday life in these neighborhoods and nobody reacts. Local and county authorities say: we are powerless. This is a large number of animals, they point out, and they say they can’t do anything to fix the problem permanently. They can only react when things slip out of control. Those animals live in terrible conditions. There are more than 4, 000 stray dogs on the streets that are not vaccinated. Kids below 14 years also mistreat dogs on ways that we cannot imagine and they are doing that for fun.
