Opening Ottawa Gardens to dogs on leash

We would like Ottawa Gardens open to use for owners and their dogs on leash, just as they are allowed in Victoria Park

Dear Friends,


We are asking the City of North Vancouver to change the bylaw regarding Ottawa Gardens to allow dogs on leash.  They have recently allowed that for Victoria Park, a much nicer and better cared for park.  We beleive Dog owners and there pets contribute to the security and well being of the neighborhood.  Close to 50 families with dogs previously used the park.
