Permanent Ban on Liquor in India
Family: Mother will wait for her son with his favorite food prepared, wife will wait to share her love, Kids will wait to play and be joyful but if he comes home consuming alcohol, he can't spend time and share love.
Is alcohol more important than family?
As we all know, drinking habit has been spoiling people's life. Most of the family suffer due to Drunkards.
Women across India went through or still being harassed by their husbands/father/other family member.
Because of drinking habits rather than taking home essential products people tend to spend more money on liquor.
Drinks leads to Gambling, sexual harassment, accidents, etc., taking them to darker Side of Life. Every year death rates are going high.
Government is responsible for making people's life better but the same government is allowing the production and sales of alcohol even though it is not essential product for people's life.
Revenue: State governments are increasingly becoming dependent on alcohol revenue to fund their schemes. For most of the states, up to one-fifth of their budgets are funded by Booze, which has registered a very high growth rate in the country.
Is revenue from Liquor is more important than people's Life!..?
Health damage: Cirrhosis of liver, heart disease, diabetes as well as leads to absenteeism, road accidents and various mental health and behaviour problems.
Rehabilitation centre: one side Government generating revenue from liquor on other side government spending money on Rehabilitation centres.
Development: When people grow financially strong, they can build their own carrier. The government will also be benefited by collecting taxes from Individuals directly or indirectly.
News: Every day we can see innocent peoples are killed by accidents due to drink and drive.
Ban: Alcohol prohibition in India is already enforced in the states of Bihar, Gujarat, Mizoram and Nagaland as well as in the union territory of Lakshadweep. All other Indian states and union territories permit the sale of alcohol.
