Stop S. 1481, Which would Give Public Lands in Alaska Away to Private Corporations

S. 1481, sponsored by Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), would hand over or trade more than 130,000 acres (almost 53,000 hectares) of the Tongass National Forest - the nation's largest national forest - to private timber corporations. Another 20,000 hectares of national wildlife refuge lands would be opened to privatization.

We the undersigned demand that you block this bill and protect precious wilderness from private concerns.
