Demand an end to the suffering of all animals slaughtered without stunning in the name of Religion

In 1933 the United Kindom brought in humane laws to stop the suffering of animals killed for food. Our Government has allowed religious organisations to ignore this because of their religious beliefs. Increasingly our country is being high jacked by minorities to carry out the cruel and painful slaughter of animals who feel pain and stress. USA say it is unconstitutional, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and Northern Ireland ban the practice.  Slaughtering without stunning belongs to the Dark Ages and should play no part in the 21st century in a civilised society!

A huge thank you to everyone who has cared enough to sign my petition on behalf of all animals. . Also please write to all your local supermarkets and ask for non-stunned meat to be banned in their stores. We have the right to know if we are eating Halal meat (apparently we are as it is finding its way into our supermarkets). It is only the consumer that can stop this cruelty. Many many thanks again and please never stop campaigning. Liz J
