Our president like him or not should be respected. Our process of doing things in this country needs to be respected. Congressman John Boehner inviting Prime Minister Netanyahu to the US without clearing it with the White House to speak to Congress for the soul purpose to rebuttal the president about the State of the Union address is near an act of treason. Why? This is an in-house disagreement one that is best left between members of congress and the president. Prime Minister Netanyahu is very close to re-election in his country. It is going to look as though we are promoting him thus putting ourselves into the politics of Israel.
Please sign this petition to make it clear to Congressman John Boehner that this is not correct and goes against established diplomatic protocols.
We must understand that our country has diplomatic protocols that must be adhered to by all. If we do not have rules we have no order. When our elected officials let personal feelings get in the way the people lose. We do not need or want Prime Minister Netanyahu speaking to our congress against our president.
This is not correct and the Prime Minister should tell Congressman Boehner no to the invitation. He is going to be very close to re-election in his country and it will appear that the US is trying to put itself into the politics of Israel.
