START prioritising British nationals in the borough of Croydon

As British Nationals in the borough of Croydon we are continuously put to the bottom of the list. 1 in 4 of my social circle live in overcrowded homes, whether that is; shared accommodation in one room with there child/children, one bedrooms with 3+ people, sofa surfing and hostels.

I know at least 1 in 3 people that live in accommodation that is uninhabitable. Damp conditions, conditions with rodents. These are all British nationals that were born here. Black, white, Asian people. Not people that have come over seeking asylum or people who have come over from Europe.

Our schools are too full, the majority of children in our schools do not speak English. Yet many mothers I know are fighting to get there British children into school.

This is far from a racial thing British nationals are black, white, Asian ect; and understandably some people come over fleeing war but why are they given prority over us? At the expense of the British tax payer like myself. I waited 3 years for accommodation whilst working and I was given nothing. Despite having nowhere else to go.

Why is this happening?! People in Croydon earn a average of £250 a week before tax the minimum private rent is £260 without council tax, food, water, TV linscence, gas, electricity, travel and childcare. Therefore even working families claim DSS. Yet there are hardy any properties that will accept DSS even if it is a partial payment of DSS. As well as this to put a deposit down on a private property you need at least 2000 so with that and the cost of rent in the area it's like searching for a needle in a hay stack.

David Cameron it's time you made sure our borough put the BRITISH nationals first because it's unfair our children lack a education, live in overcrowded uninhabitable conditions. When refugees and asylum seekers are put first!
