Take the Pet out of Hermit Crabs!

Hermit Crabs should not be called pets. The stores FORCE them into painted shells (that are toxic to them) leaving some without a shell, causing them to die. I think that with this situation, all pet stores should be banned from selling Hermit Crabs. If not cared for correctly, some could live a depressing life. Without a large group, the crab could die.
In some cases, people use cages with mesh or metal bars. This could cause the crab to climb it and even fall to their death. If this situation is not solved right away, Hermit crabs could go extinct, or even worse, be ABUSED for LIFE.
