Add the Herbicide Ban to Bisbee's City Code

The citizens of Bisbee have consistently defended and the Council repeatedly upheld (in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2007 and 2012) the April 19, 1983 motion by the Bisbee City Council “To not use any herbicides in the City Limits” to eliminate unwanted foliage. After 34 years, we believe it is time to raise this de facto ban to ordinance status.

We request the City to draft and put into force an ordinance to uphold the popular and historical Council decision to not use synthetic pesticides on City properties in the City Code, Chapter 9 HEALTH AND SANITATION.
