Mandatory Physical Fitness Requirements For Law Enforcement Officers

    There are far to many law enforcement officers on duty these days that are not able to meet the very simple physical fitness requirements. This greatly impacts their ability to perform the required and necessary tasks in order to safely and adequately apprehend and subdue suspected criminals, as well as assist with emergency personal in emergency situations. An officers physical abilities will absolutely affect their ability to save lives and apprehend suspected criminals. Annual Physical Fitness Requirements Should be implemented statewide.
