The problem...
Currently there is nowhere in Finsbury Park for the numerous groups and individuals (myself included) to practice the martial arts and exercises that they love including tai chi, qi gong, yoga and pilates.

The mission...
To build a dedicated training area and beautiful garden in Finsbury Park for the local community to practice martial arts, exercise and relax.

Why is the project important?...
Giving people the space to practice and the opportunity to learn the disciplines that boost their physical and mental wellbeing will improve the quality of life for the local community.

What's my connection to the cause?
I am passionate about tai chi and qi gong as I have found both disciplines to be hugely beneficial to my physical and mental health. I live very near Finsbury Park and love to practice there on some mornings and on weekends. Having spoken to a number of groups and individuals practicing a range of martial arts and exercises, it became clear that a dedicated area to practice, learn and relax would be add huge value to the local community.
