Make Residential Recycling Mandatory

Recycling is key in preserving our environment. We make over 250 million of tons of Municipal Solid Waste per year, of which we currently only recycle 34.1%. Not recycling harms our environment by creating green house gases, depleting our natural resources, and causing pollution. Mandatory recycling laws would not only help to preserve our environment but would also create jobs and generate revenue.
