This petition is to change how pets are cremated. As we know pet owners have two options group or individual. When my family had to make that choice for our furbaby Alvin we chose individual because we wanted his ashes. Unfortunately, Alvin did not come home instead the vets staff screwed up the paperwork and marked him down for group cremation. This petition is to change that so cremation services would contact the pet's owners to verify what their wishes are before cremating. We are heartbroken our furbaby won't be coming home we want to help other furbabies from going through the same mistake ours did. Justice For Alvin is a group to protect other furbabies.
