In Support of Proposition Dinka and for the Removal of Prop 8

Petition to strike CALIFORNIA PROPOSITION 8 from the record and replace with PROPOSITION DINKA:

PROPOSITION DINKA
The state of California will remove all legal recognition of marriage from the State Constitution.  The state of California recognizes naught but Civil Unions between two consenting adults.  Religious Institutions may continue to perform and recognize marriages as defined by those Religious Institutions.  Religious Institutions may retain the right to refuse marriage ceremonies and sanctifications based on their individual religious bylaws.

The purpose of this petition is to encourage the state of California to acknowledge and uphold equal rights, while also maintaining the religious rights of its citizens and religious organizations.
