Ban cruel Glue Traps in the United States

Glue traps are a cruel and ineffective way to deal with a rodent infestation. I recently signed a petition from a vet, who recently had a rat brought in still attached to a glue trap, screaming as it had ripped a lot of skin away, including its face, as it tried to escape.

Glue traps go against Animal Welfare laws by prolonging the death of an animal you are attempting to kill, as the majority of users do not check the traps frequently or kill the animal quickly when found. They also accidentally trap wildlife and pets. These devices cause excruciating deaths for animals and should be banned. Countries such as Ireland and New Zealand have already banned them.
