Urge the Canadian Government to INCREASE the punishment for animal abuse.

Too often people abuse and neglect animals without punishment. These animals have no power to change their fate until individuals speak up for them - this is what we need to do. 

We need to let the Government of Canada know that we are not satisfied with the minimal punishment animal abusers receive, if they are caught at all. People who abuse or neglect animals need to know that their actions have severe consequences and that inflicting pain and harm onto inncocent animals will not be accepted by society. 

The measly punishment these offenders get is not enough of a deterrent to prevent people from abusing and neglecting animals. Lets help protect our animals by calling for harsher punishments.
