Tax Junk Food.

Whereas non-nutritious food is bad for people's health,

and whereas there are federal and state taxes on other products that harm human health such as alcohol and tobacco,

and whereas said taxes raise the price of these products and thereby discourages people from buying and using them,

therefore, we the undersigned hereby request that the United States Government impose a federal tax on non-nutritious food in order to increase the federal income and improve the health of American citizens.
