Protect Alaskas Bears and Wolves from Inhumane Hunting Practices

  • av: Kelly Rogers

Enact hunting regulations to protect Alaska’s bear, wolf, and coyote populations.

There is one particularly inhumane hunting method that is banned in forty-nine states. It consists of shooting innocent bears after baiting them, and is widely considered a cruel and inhumane form of hunting. In Alaska, this practice is a legal and common occurrence throughout the state. Brown bears in particularly are being indirectly targeted as a result of the legal status of these practices. In other words, because these cruel hunting practices are still allowed, they are still happening.
