We've heard enough.
As Speaker Pelosi has said, Justice Clarence Thomas should "never have been appointed." Now that we know just how deeply his wife, Ginni Thomas, was involved in the events leading up to the January 6th attack on the Capitol and the Trump team's clumsy but still incredibly dangerous attempts to overturn the 2020 election, he cannot be allowed to remain on the Supreme Court.
Thomas has already proven he's willing to throw his ethical obligations in the trash when it comes to his wife's involvement in the insurrection by being the sole vote against releasing Donald Trump's documents relating to January 6th to the investigative committee.
Call on Congress to start restoring integrity to the Supreme Court and impeach Clarence Thomas!
But this wasn't even the first time that Thomas has used his power to undermine our democracy. Throughout his career on the Court, he has consistently voted to make it harder for our votes to count, to attack the institution of the free press, and even helped install a questionably elected Republican president in Bush V. Gore.
He's disgraced himself and the institutions that make our country great time and time again — and this should be the last straw.
