Citizens Against Advanced Disposal Landfill Expansion

    Advanced Disposal Landfill corporation is seeking to expand its capacity at the location in Zion, Illinois. Its proposed expansion will add an additional 30 years of capacity. The citizens in the immediate area are experiencing multiple issues with its current operation located close to their residences. The greater community that depends on clean drinking water from Lake Michigan also has cause to worry about potential leakage into this important source of drinking water.
