Stop plastic pollution, start our new future!

This may look very long but trust me its worth while, and if u really care u would read on...
One million plastic bottles are bought EVERY MINUTE around the world. That number will double to half a trillion by 2021, that's only TWO YEARS away! And less then half of those bottles end up getting recycled. That means that 8 million metric tons of plastic winds up in our oceans EACH YEAR.
Some of the most impacted animals are: Seals, Sea Lions, Seabirds, Fish, Whales and Dolphins.
BUT WHAT CAN OUR SCHOOL DO ABOUT IT?
Instead of schools using plastic bottles, make it compulsory to have a eco-friendly bottle that you can fill up at water stations around the school. And for the cafeteria instead of giving food in plastic containers have plates or cardboard packaging, then when the students are finished they throw away the cardboard in special bins that make sure they get recycled. Or make a special day where the students go around the school to get rid of all litter from break time.
