In the wake of the shocking, horrifying killing of right-wing propagandist Charlie Kirk, Donald Trump took to the Oval Office and began blaming Democrats for the killing, even though we still don't know who was responsible or why they did it.
"For years, those on the radical left have compared wonderful Americans like Charlie to Nazis and the world's worst mass murderers and criminals. This kind of rhetoric is directly responsible for the terrorism that we're seeing in our country today, and it must stop right now," said Trump in his Oval Office address.
This kind of baseless and uncalled for smearing will lead to reprisal attacks and more political violence. It is absolutely unacceptable incitement from the sitting president and it must end immediately before someone else gets killed.
