Recovering endangered wild salmon in the Northwest has been stalled for nearly two decades, but now there is new hope.

Recently, Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber called on the Obama Administration to enact a new plan to recover endangered salmon in the Columbia and Snake Rivers.
