Petition to Ban Single Use Plastic Water Bottles at Tufts

    We, the students of Tufts University are asking for the removal of single-use plastic water bottles from University-run cafes and food establishments including: The Commons, Hotung, Kindlevan, Mugar, Pax et Lox, Tower, and Hodgdon. We believe that the use of plastic water bottles on our campus is both excessive and contributes to grotesque amounts of waste. It not only contributes to global pollution but harms the communities that this waste is sent to.
