Enough is enough.
First, we discovered that Trump had taken a box of classified information to Mar-a-Lago, a clear violation of the Presidential Records Act. Now the Guardian is reporting that they have evidence at least one phone call was made from the White House to a GOP Senator during the January 6th attack on the Capitol that doesn't show up in the official call log— raising suspicions the records were tampered with, which is illegal.
Trump has flaunted the rules and gotten away with it for far too long. It's time we held Trump accountable for breaking the law over and over and over again.
Call on the Department of Justice to punish Trump for violating federal law in his attempt to cover up his attempted coup!
It's important we keep this in perspective. Disgraced ex-president Donald Trump and his rabid disciples attempted to subvert our democracy and illegally overturn the results of a legitimate election, and now we have evidence of him violating the law to try and cover his tracks.
For the sake of our democracy, we cannot allow him to get away with this. Attorney General Merrick Garland and the Department of Justice must hold Trump accountable for his actions — and make him face the consequences he has somehow eluded his entire adult life.
