The fur industry has long been a byword for cruelty, killing millions of animals a year in horrific ways in order to profit from their skins. Right now, millions of individual animals are being tormented and killed for cruelly produced fashion. Dogs, cats, lizards, and other animals are bludgeoned or electrocuted, and their skin is torn off their bodies, often while they're still conscious. Cruelty to animals is never fashionable.
