Stop the Debilitating PTSD from Wars and Rape across Africa

Horrible violence, sexual abuse and terrorism create debilitating post-traumatic stress across Africa. Up to 100 million Africans are incapacitated. Nightmares, hyper vigilance, anger and addiction often follow which may lead to further violence or suicide. Students can't study. Families cannot share love. Workers cannot do their jobs. Journal of American Medical Association explains that only one in three US Veterans with PTSD come out of this condition with psychotherapy (Aug 4, 2015). Rapid, highly effective evidence-based approaches are available and are also highly cost-effective. One approach, Transcendental Meditation cost $50-100 US per victim and brings over 50% out in 30-90 days (Journal of Traumatic Stress, April, 2013; Feb. 2014). It's time to reach out to those whose lives are severely hindered by traumatic stress and give help them return to happy and productive lives.
