Stop termination of Houston's Firemen

The City of Houston will be laying off Firemen. Although the people voted for the Firemen to have a raise; the city council and the Mayor decided some firemen must be terminated to have the money to raise firemen salaries.

However firemen risk their lives during their jobs and are essential for the safety of the city of Houston. There are many career workers whose salaries need to reduced or/and positions cut, that will not affect the safety of Houston 's citizens.
