Demand Traditional Halloween parade and trick or treat times

We the residents of Apollo believe in tradition. We would like to return the Halloween parade to Monday evening and trick or treat to Thursday evening. Since council took it upon themselves to change the date and time for fear of some unfounded safety issue and "convenience" to others without first discussing it with the residence of Apollo. Such a change to a long time tradition should not have been made so quickly without further information or discussion. It was changed very early and with no reason of explanation to the community. The police and fire departments do a fine job with patrolling this event. We request you return the events to their original date and time.
