Ditch Outdated Dress Code: Tattoos Uncovered at HCA Facilities

Each and every day so many people are being refused from job and career opportunities due to growing demand of tattoo's and other body modifications.

I myself have many tattoos but the main focus here is visible tattoos, I.e neck, arm, however without tattoo's many people people such as myself wouldn't be as confident and comfortable as I am today. Tattoos also do not change the way I work or how hard I work. I am a nurse. I am a nurse with tattoos. It turns out I’m just as smart with visible tattoos

Unfortunately in the employment industry many companies will frown upon tattoo's due to reasons such as uniform policies, the look it has on the company and even sometimes hygiene standard's but employees aren't aware of the amazing and talented they could be losing out!

For me, this is something that I'm willing to fight for to get an official law in place for discrimination in the workplace, people shouldn't have to be judged or looked down upon because of a choice they've made to make themselves who they are, I'd like to see an improvement in equality in the employment side of things and actually have the power to make a difference to people fighting for a chance to work!
Allow nurses who work for HCA to uncover their tattoos and bring attention back to the patient-centered care, not what the person delivering that care looks like.
