Get signs put up to save the sand dollar population on Hilton Head Island

Sand dollars are killed in large numbers every year on the beaches of Hilton Head Island. Many people who take them out of the ocean don't even know they are alive - or that it is against the law to take them.
This problem can be fixed by a simple sign educating people on sand dollars, showing them the difference between living and dead sand dollars, and letting them know it is also against the law.
We want to get tasteful signs put up at public beach access spots around the island to help save our sand dollar population and spread the education. We need the town's permission, however they continue to ignore us when we reach out.
