Mexico: Save Endangered Sea Turtles from Deadly Gillnets

"We urge you to protect loggerhead sea turtles off Baja’s Pacific coast. We’re astonished to learn that an estimated 2,000 loggerheads were killed in gill nets off that coastline last year. You must take action to stop fishermen from netting and hooking these sea turtles.

We stand with organizations such as the Sea Turtle Restoration Project in asking you to ensure fishery gear doesn’t jeopardize the lives of loggerhead sea turtles."
