The woman who ran this so-called rescue was caught with dogs in filthy, dangerous conditions on three separate occasions in less than a month.

Mandatory mental health counseling addresses the root of what led to this pattern of neglect, giving her the support she needs while ensuring no future animal pays the price for it. Without both, there is nothing stopping this from happening again the moment she has access to another vulnerable dog.
