There are way too many scammers and incidents that have happened in our Greater Kansas City Area...Pushy Solicitors who have been known to burglarize, kidnap and kill women or make the homeowner so uncomfortable that they either have to get home security system or a home perimeter video camera. The only other way to report people going door-to-door and seeing whether homes are occupied or not is to contact the local police station. Even when you ask for a "drive by" from a police officer on patrol isn't always going to be done...we have waited hours and no patrol car has ever driven through our neighborhoods, even tho we place a call and request it. Many times we were told to "Buy a Gun". Seriously? All this for the reason that it is okay to go door-to-door in Kansas City. Enough is enough. Let's stop the madness.
