Let landlords allow pet in apartments

or landlord say we cant have pet in our apartments exept fish and i recently discovered a kitty litter and kids were messing with them and they touched them and my mom said that if u touch kittens their mom wont come back and i asked if we could take care of them because shes too afraide to take of them and i am only 13 but i think i can make a diffrence and im too afraid to comfront or landlord because she might kick us out
