“We signed this petition because we want the City of Kingston to do more about recycling.

Staff have already implemented many good programs for waste diversion, and council has set ambitious environmental targets, but we must do more!

Missing from our plans are meaningful, measurable, cost-effective ways to bring recycling to the commercial and industrial sector and to encourage small businesses to cut what they contribute to landfill.



Let’s work together to find solutions for big item recycling and small item recycling. We signed this petition because we want to learn more and then act on these issues before it’s too late.”
