Mold toxins can harm and even kill people. There must be laws protecting tenants from mold and a certificate upon renting any apartment should require provision of proof that the dwelling is free of all mold. If a tenant suspects mold the landlord will immediately have the unit inspected and if mold is found have a licensed re mediator inspect the dwelling and then properly remove all mold maintaining the safety of the tenants. It is imperative that this law be passed in all 50 states.
