Demand that Urban Warriors who know Naught stay OUT of Country Activity Politics

The notion that majority rule or "public interest" constitutes enough voice to sway national & international policy making in the rural space or the developing/undeveloped world is Dangerous. It leads to individuals who have never understood the science, or lived with the consequences, or invested REAL effort & funds into Sustainable Utilisation Initiatives believing they have a "say" beyond all proportion.

It would be a good idea if people without the knowledge, investment or connection to such matters stopped creating petitions ad-nauseum, and contributing heat instead of light to the various discussions.
