Request for Hart County Water Authority to run county water lines to the Rock Springs Community

The residents of the ROCK SPRINGS COMMUNITY are requesting that the Hart County Water Authority look into and seriously consider running county water lines to our area.

This area of Hart County is well known for it's lack of quality producing wells for it's homeowners. Many properties have several wells on them and are just surviving on miniumn GPM flows, sharing a neighbors well, using possible contaminated water due to proximity of septic systems and even had to abandon their property due to lack of potable water available.

The need for a safe and reliable water supply for our community is a must at this time. The additional benefits of fire hydrants to the community is also a plus for the homeowners fire protection costs which has also been long due for our area.

We hope that the Water Authority can move forward in taking the steps to bringing County water lines as soon as possible to the Rock Springs Community.
