See Christo Reyneke's Phakisa http://www.greyhounds-southafrica.co.za/Training_and_Race_Photos.php - this is exactly why we do not need to legalize greyhound racing.  Who will police the conditions under which greyhounds are kept?  This is abuse of the dogs and there will be excessive breeding of greyhounds and the spread of diseases related to dogs.
