No Puppy or Kitten Left Behind

Seven puppies snuggled together on a large, soft bed, surrounded by new toys. The smallest pup spotted the face of one of ARF’s rescue team. He wiggled past his littermates, eager to be the first to get their loving attention. Nearby, three litters of orphaned kittens, all new arrivals at ARF, buried their tiny pink noses in their food bowls, happy to fill their hungry bellies.

Adorable, but in need of care far beyond what the crowded public shelter could provide, the sweet puppies and fluffy kittens had no hope of being rescued until ARF stepped in to save their lives.

ARF makes long journeys every week to underserved public shelters bursting with helpless puppies and kittens. Many groups pass up rescuing young animals due to the immense resources they require for survival - extra vaccinations, formula, food, critical medical care, and a foster home. Through no fault of their own, many of these babies are facing an uncertain future - or no future at all.
